It has come to light that there are budding writers out there who are concerned as to whether a screenwriting service is for them or not. Are you one of those who worry that they are under-qualified or feel out of scope for help?
Maybe you think this is a fast paced world for the youth, the "TikTok" smartphone generation, or perhaps these services are only geared toward film school students.
Not at all. Watch my video here which opens up Screenplay Prep to all of you.
This post very much came about because a few clients voiced concerns about their age, background, and lack of film school related studies.
I very much think that the older you become, the more experience you gather and memories and stories you harbor. The younger folk who get their screenplays made are the lucky ones with a knack for screenwriting and willingness to pander to society and commerce, although not always true. What I mean is that they are closer to the greater audience's age band and know what makes them tick. That's a mindset which can be applied such that writing can be accessible to all groups.
Don't worry about whether you have been to film school or done a screenwriting course. The latter can still be done! While the experience of film school may bestow great knowledge about film making, it is not essential. You will find many of the world's greats never went to or completed university. Don't believe me? Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Michael Dell, and Walt Disney either never attended university or dropped out of education early.
What it takes is the desire to get help and turn up here at Screenplay Prep for educational resources or to book a service according to your needs. You can be anyone. I am a well traveled person, having lived across five countries with diverse cultures.
Believe in story and follow your dream. What's the reason to not do it?
What's your story?
