A typical concern with many submitted screenplays is unnecessary use of action description. Part of the "Show don't tell" mantra, these instances fall into the realm of "unfilmable action." The summary is to not worry about intention and write only what can be filmed. The flow of scenes will dictate how a character moves between locations. It is inevitable that leaving the living room and arriving in a bedroom that walking happened in between.
